Crete is the biggest island in Greece, at 260km end to end it is also the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean. Crete has so much to offer and is not just an island for sun worshipers, seeped in history, it has a rugged interior with traditionally villages, mountains, waterfalls and lakes making it suitable for all kinds of travellers.

You can choose Crete as a single holiday destination or combine it with Athens and/or the islands, the choice is yours. Heraklion and Chania also make for great mini-locations from spring until late autumn with direct flights available from all over the UK.
